ランボー 最後の戦場《特別編集版》をBSジャパンで観ていたからかしら。アーミー・ルックのCDを頂きました。戦争物のはあまり食指が動かないんだけどなぁと、思えば。Status Quo(ステイタス・クォー)の新作「 In the Army Now 」。９月２６日に英国でチャリティー・シングルとしてリリースされたマキシシングル。
早速聴き始めたらコーヒーを飲みたくなりました。薬で風邪気味が和らいでは居たものの、これで随分気持ちがほぐれることが出来ました。

わたしだけのことかも知れないけれども、今年に入ってステイタス・クォーの名前と曲にふれあう機会が増えました。クローズアップの時なのでしょうか。名前を見知って居た割りには曲と結びつけて聴いていなくてライヴ・イヴェントに参加しているのを観ていたぐらいですから、これが良い機会になりそうな予感。
マキシシングルは、1986年のヒット曲「In The Army Now」のニュー・ヴァージョン。それに近年のライヴチューンが２曲。アルバム「Live at the BBC」を改訂した２CDと４ＣＤ盤もリリースのようです。
