S.W.A.T.

映画のシーンで流れていて、とても気に入った曲を知りたくてサウンドトラック盤を買ってみたら主題歌とオリジナル楽曲が収録されているぐらいでがっかりしたことはありませんか？
「トップガン」や「フットルース」のように、「ゴーストバスターズ」形式のサウンドトラック盤は珍しいもので、「ネヴァーエンディング・ストーリー」など小学生の頃に買ってがっかりしたサウンドトラック盤も少なくありません。思いがけなく面白いものも中にはないわけではありませんでしたが、12インチ盤の方を選んだ方が良かったなと思う物もありました。
それからは曲目のクレジットを確認して購入する習慣づけとなったわけですから、経験から学ぶというものですね。
映画「S.W.A.T.」もそういった一枚。ストーンズや、ジミー・ヘンドリックス、リンケン・パークなどのヒットチューンがアクションを演出していますけれども、通常のサウンドトラック盤には収録されていません。
劇中で使われていた楽曲を尋ねられることもありますから、リストアップしました。

ロス市警のS.W.A.T.隊員ストリートと相棒ギャンブルは、作戦実行中のギャンブルの判断ミスによってS.W.A.T.を追放される。処分に納得できないギャンブルが警察を去る一方で、再帰を願い甘んじて左遷を受けるストリート。そして今、彼はホンド巡査部長率いる新チームのメンバーに選ばれ、過酷な訓練を乗り切り、晴れてS.W.A.T.に復帰した。
そんなある日、ロサンゼルスで世界的な麻薬王が逮捕され、チームは彼らに護送を命じる。しかし、麻薬王が報道陣に「俺を逃がしてくれた奴に1億ドル払う」と宣言。街には報酬を狙う連中が溢れかえり、ストリートの元相棒ギャンブルは、報酬を狙ってかつてS.W.A.T.でならした戦術で麻薬王の逃亡計画を練り上げていた。
映画「リクルート」並に、エージェント訓練ものか？と思った。
後半はアクション満載だったようだが、それ以前に、前半で飽きてしまってあまり感情移入して見れなかった・・・
