ハープの日。8（ハー）と2（プ）にちなんで日本ハープ協会によって制定された。ハープの作品といえば、ヘンデルの《ハープ協奏曲》や、モーツァルトの《フルートとハープのための協奏曲》がよく知られている。ハープの起源は古く紀元前にまでさかのぼり、現在の形になったのは1720年代頃と言われている。
